chance to discover the town I live in and
the wider area. Find out about some

The SS Great Britain and stories of Vikings from Scandinavia and Corsairs from Morocco. Discover beautiful rural walks with stunning views and ancient woodlands or join the coastal path trail for wonderful seascapes.

TOUR OPTIONS
PENARTH HISTORY TRAIL
Starting at the Penarth end of the
Cardiff Bay Barrage we will walk through
the marina, then uphill towards the town
taking in spectacular viewpoints.
Discover some of the town's listed
buildings including a Grade 1 listed
church before descending to
the esplanade taking in the pier and
then finishing in the town centre by
walking through the beautiful
Alexandra Park.
Approximately 2 to 3 hours in duration.
ANCIENT WOODLANDS
DINAS POWIS
A 5 mile country walk in that
really gets you in to the countryside.
Beautiful, peaceful but quite challenging
with slippy paths
and muddy tracks, great fun!
Walking boots essential.
Starts and finishes at the War Memorial in
Dinas Powis.
COASTAL PATH
From Penarth to Lavernock and back
via Cosmeston, come and explore
this section of the coastal path.
Walking boots recommended, start
and finish at St.Augustine's Church in Penarth.
